Every fishery has its legends.

Stories of lingcod so large they seem impossible. Tales of fish lost at color, fish that straightened hooks, fish that appeared once and were never seen again. Along the Pacific Coast, fishermen have long chased rumors of Alaskan-sized lingcod lurking beneath California waters. Whether every story is true hardly matters. The pursuit itself is what keeps us coming back.

Legends endure because they inspire the chase. They remind us that there is always a bigger fish, a deeper understanding, and another lesson waiting below the surface. The possibility of encountering one of these fish is enough to keep us studying charts, tying knots, pouring baits, and making one more drift.

To us, the largest lingcod and rockfish are more than dinner. They are prized gamefish worthy of the time, attention, and respect required to pursue them. Understanding their nature, their behavior, and their instincts is every bit as rewarding as landing them.

The baits and information offered here are hand-crafted from years of pursuing big groundfish. Not just for the size of the fish, but the details of the pursuit and nature's response to them.

We've caught every which way, in every condition. What drives us most, however, is understanding the triggers that make predatory groundfish commit. Every bait we design is built around mimicking those triggers, fooling nature just enough to warrant a bite.

From profile to movement, every detail is considered. What couldn't be purchased was sketched, shaped, molded, and poured by hand, with dreams of giant lingcod and rockfish driving the effort. Everything is designed and produced in-house. Completely unique.

You can catch lingcod and rockfish on almost anything, and there are many great baits available today. You will not find the cheapest baits here, but you also won't find them anywhere else.
